Default sentencing

If I am arrested in the state of Texas and the law changes, as far as sentencing in concerned, during the process from arrest to conviction am I subject to the sentencing guidlines from when I was arrested or at the time of conviction? Thanks

Default Re: sentencing

Normally the ones that applied at the time you were arrested.
