It is likely a warrant exists, yes.

Hire counsel to check the status and to help negotiate a solution. Best to face it head on and get it resolved--and behind you.

In most states, an FTA is considered an admission of guilt, so there's very little chance that the case would have simply been dismissed. Depending on how you approach the situation, both the FTA charge and the previous charges can be remanded, pending trial or a bargain -- often if the FTA is mitigated by other circumstances (not you running out of state, even if you were a kid, but your parents refusing to let you appear by sending you off somewhere, for instance) it will be thrown out and any consideration of the case previous is remanded. The burden of proof for a FTA charge is on you, not the court, however. The court already has conclusive evidence that you failed to be there.

The charges for the original matter will not be worse... it doesn't work like that. A charge is what it is, and the weight of it is decided at sentencing. You may have received a max sentence for not appearing originally, which will probably be reverted if you argue the FTA and appeal. However, there may be additional charges, if you left the state on your own volition to avoid appearing, you may also get some form of evasion, as well as the failure to appear.

As a juvenile, your parents are also responsible for your appearance before a court, even in a civil offenses (non-misdemeanor tickets). They need to make sure they're not on the line for a failure to appear, or other warrants, as well.

You should proceed by speaking to a defense attorney immediately, and finding counsel. Barring that, turn yourself in and hope you get a DA that doesn't suck.
