Default Suspended licence

I was pulled over last week and to my surprise my licence was suspended. Needless to say I was arrested, as soon as i was out on bond I paid the fine that was need to reinstate my licence. My court date is in 2 days, should I take proof of payment on the licence? Request a driving record? What are the chances of this getting dismissed?

I called some lawyer office's and they say that there is a chance it could be but.... and then they start in on there fees. I am really trying to NOT pay for legal counsel but will if absolutely neccessary.

BTW this happened in TEXAS.

Thanks in advance.
