I need to know what my rights are if i have any.....? I am on federal probation and am involved in a case with my ex boyfriend. The state is trying to use me as a witness because I am the alleged victim in the charges againtst him. I need to know what my rights are because I am feeling like the state is trying to use and pressure me in convicting him. I can only remember and answer what i know is the truth but they are making me feel intimidated and even worse about the whole situation.. anyone have any suggestions.I honestly dont want anymore to do with this but when i tell them that they run to my probation officer and say im not cooperating.I feel like the state is trying to use me for a harder conviction and they already have enough physical evidence and enough on all that i can remember do i need a lawyer when im considered the victim?

Tell them what you are comfortable saying--that is all they can require
get your own lawyer if they are bullying you and you are uncomfortable |
