I went to court, I pleaed not gulity, and ask for an attorney, I was out of work and could not pay for one. First I ask if I could defend myself, Judge said No... Then he told me I would have to pay 50.00 dollars before a lawyer would talk to me, and then if I went to trial and lost my case I would have to paid another $250.00. I thought in this country you were intitled to a defense . But I live in the state of Georgia... Do they have a right to change the United States Consititution ?
