i have been on probation since july 'o7 for dwi in texas.
i have completed everything i was suppose to on time and then some. did have an alcohol violation in december but have taken aa classes and blood alcohol tests for it. i have asked since the beginning to transfer to south carolina where i had intended to move before my dwi. i do not have employment there yet but i have a friend who can help network and obtain a job in business which is what i went to school for. my family is in pa and plans on moving to the area. basically, i have asking for this and keep getting excuses and or lies. first i was told that i would have to complete my classes, etc., then my po officer told me that i "might" have to be on probation for a year before i can transfer. i understand i'm on probation but i'm basically being held against my will and misled. would a lawyer help? maybe speaking for me get this moving? need advice please. |

A lawyer might help yes,
It is sometimes easier for a third party to negotiate such moves especially if the PO is not 100% on your side in this entire matter... |
