Actually I believe all law is commercial law but, to the point, in Canada the highway traffic act is a 'statute' regulating commercial traffic on public roads.
The act defines a driver as someone engaged in commerce who is being paid to transport goods or persons and a passenger as one who pays a driver to transport or 'drive' them somewhere. In light of these facts, how is it that one is required by this act to obtain a driver's licence to travel via one's car? |
