Today I was pulled over for having 2 tail lights out. I was driving my son to school and had no idea they were out. I was issued a $75 ticket. Should this be fought? I immediately bought tail lights and had them installed.

This should be a "Fix-It-Ticket" I'm not sure where you are located but in the State of California, this should be a correctable violation and you should be able to go to the Police Station, have them view the correction (functioning breaklights) and they should be able to write it off with no Fine.
This happened to me almost exactly a year ago to date! |

I am in Texas and here it is also a Fixable -Ticket. If you prove the repairs done in a reasonable tim then it should be dismissed.
