Default Police Harrassment

I am an african american had an encounter with two white police
officers which I feel was inappropiate and possibly racially motivated . I
was driving on the highway when i came to a stop light as the light was
changing. I felt I had beat the light just as it turned. But a police
officer who was sitting at the intersection turned in my direction and
quickly came up behind me. I though at first they were going to pull me
over but they never flashed their lights. They instead just stayed behind
me never signalling me to pull over and continued to follow me closely
several blocks all the way to my house. They then pulled up beside and
started to talk to me. They said that I ran the red light. I stated I did
not think I ran a red light. They then proceeded to question me about
my name and address. I willingly gave them this info. They continued to
question me as if I was lying about my info. I asked if they saw me doing
something wrong why didn\'t they just pull me over. They said because they
wanted to see how how many lights I would run. The cops never gave me a
ticket. I felt their behavior crossed the line and plan to file a
complaint. I just wanted to know what ideas you had on any rcourse I can
take

Running a Yellow light is ticketable. Yellow does not mean to hurry on through the inter section. It means if you are in the intersction (broken the plane) come on through, and if you haven't broken the plane of the intersection do not enter. If it was yellow, and you were trying to beat it, chances are you are guilty of running a yellow light.
