Default Minor, soon to be 18; unsure what to do.

I have read the "Fighting a Ticket" link, and although very helpful, it doesnt answer all my specifics.

I have received a speeding ticket, for which I was not clocked with a radar gun. The officer approximated that I was traveling at a speed of at least was 85 (I didn't check my spedometer, but I believe I was traveling a little over 70) in a 45/50. I am 17, going on 18 in four months, and have unforunately received 3 other civil speeding tickets since I got my license. Although I have
gone to
traffic school, driving school, and paid my 3rd ticket, I believe I
could
have fought one or two of them based on each situation.

I\'m unsure if it matters when I appear in court, but my background is
pretty good as far as grades, work, etc. What are my probable
consequences?

Any help or advice would be strongly helpful and appreciated to my
family
and I. I have researched, but have not come up with any successful
answers.
Should I get a lawyer? Should I plead guilty? Is it worth questioning
the
speed he documented on the ticket? What will be my smartest options for

defense?

Thank you greatly,
Pamela S.

You can challenge it using the techniques described in that article but frankly there is not much else you can do.

It sounds as if your best bet will be to hope the judge reduces it as they often do when a dispute appears to exist--or the police don't show.
