Question Police Harassment

The question I have is police pull me over a lot but when I ask why,
they claim that my car fit the description of a car used in a possible
crime. After that they ask me many question, some don't have nothing to do with why I'm being pulled over. Is there anyway I can defend myself? I know they do this just to see what people are up too but 4 times in one day. Plus my town is small. I like most police officers. I don't give them trouble and mouth off to them. Just the one's in my town, they have big power trips. They think everyone is on probation in this town. (no i am not on probation)

That should not happen that often. You may want to first file a complaint with the chief of the dept (or perhaps have World Law's staff do so if you wish) . The heads of the dept's are required to investigate these kinds of problems and normally will do so--file directly with him or her and do so in writing...if that does not work, let us know here.

Yes i will give it a try. I know it seem kind of hard to believe but it happen here a lot. My friend in a town 15 mile from here had cops go into her home without a warrant, saying she was doing illegal credit card transaction on her computer. They took her computer, didn't arrest her and 2 days later bought it back to her. They didn't apologize or anything. They just told her we will be keeping an eye on you. She was told to file a complain at the police station and when she tried to submit it, they took her they weren't going to take it. Other people i know have been told by cops that they were not allowed to come back into that town anymore. Which i know no one has that authority to do. It just sad really how many people around this area don't know their legal rights. I have told the school systems around here why they dont teach about "Law" in school. Maybe if they knew their rights and what happens when they commit a crime, might keep them from committing them in the first place. For the most part I respect Cops, My brother and I helped one who was getting attack by a drunk. They are just doing their job. Cops around here don't last too long because when they do get enough complains filed against them they just relocate them to a different area. The thing that bugs me is they pull me over, saying my car fits the description of a vehical used in a crime or a caller reported in a discription to this type of vehical as a possible drunk driver on the road. I almost certain when they are asking questions, it has to pertain to the reason why I was pulled over. I can tell when they are fishing around for info. when they are asking me things about other people or seen this person. Can I request a report about the suppose vehical used in what they said was a crime so I can see if it's even true.

thanks for your help
