Default Stopped by TX State Trooper - Disregarding Stop Sign

Just an hour ago, I got stopped by a State Trooper for not coming to a complete stop at a sign.

The trooper was in an apartment driveway parallel to the street that the alleged disregard happened, not directly behind me, so I don't know if he got it on camera.

I've started picking around on the site, but I am coming across a lot of info on speeding ticket dismissal, and I've found no posts on my situation. I don't know how much of the speeding ticket strategy I can use towards a failure to stop.

The major problem here is that I don't have a thin red dime to my name to spare, not on paying fines or increased insurance, so I need to find out if this is fight-able.

There isn't a whole lot of "extra" information on the ticket. There isn't even an address denoted to where I could mail in the ticket. Only a section that states "You are hereby notified to appear before:" and lists the address of a Dallas County court and the name of the Judge, and then after that an on or before date.

Can someone point me in a good direction?

You will need to contact the clerk of the court for the fine, if it was not marked on the ticket. And appear on that date.

The officer's word that he witnessed you run a stop sign will most likely be good enough for a conviction. When you appear in court, you can ask for terms on paying the fine. If one is without funds to pay traffic fines usually arrangements can be made for so much a month.
