Confused Speeding ticket in Tennessee with wrong offense marked. Can I get ticket dropped?

Got a ticket this morning in Tennessee ror 71 in a 55, haven't had a ticket in 6 years. Called fine is $176. Was told to come to court could get traffic school since last ticket was so long ago. But I noticed that he had marked TCA 55-9-107 window tint violation on ticket instead of TCA 55-12-139 financial responsibility. Have valid full coverage insurance but failed to have it in my car. Could I fight this matter and get this ticket dismissed due to the cops error on my ticket and the wrong violation being marked.

I wish to inform you that you may contest charges against you. In this regard you may show that the violation written in your ticket was never committed by you and therefore ticket should be dismissed. Further you may argue that as you are not guilty of the charge in ticket therefore you should be provided relief and ticket should be dismissed.

Sometimes the COPS will write the wrong information on the traffic ticket or traffic citation. This does not automatically dismiss the ticket, and the officer is allowed to correct the error. The traffic judge has the right to dismiss the ticket, but he/she probably wills not if it is just one or two minor errors. The more errors there are, the better chance the ticket will be dismissed. Form the facts it seems that you have got a good case to fight .Its better advised to consult with an Traffic Ticketing Attorney.
