CVC 21453a Red light viloation NEED HELP

Ok so i have decided to fight my case. Here are the details if any one has advice please post

-I was driving down a hill and near the bottom of the hill but before the hill ended there is a traffic signal.
-There were two cops about 100 yards past the traffic signal. (they were doing radar checks)
-There was a car in front of me and when we approached the signal the light turned yellow. The car in front of me could have safely gone through the light but suddenly stoped and because I drive a much larger truck I was forced to swerve into the next lane and consequently went through the light.

keep in mind that the cops where not actually at the light they were on my side of the street about 50-100 yards past it.
