Default 2 days before trial... is it too late?

Hi, I thought I have until 10/11, but my trial (by Jury) for a speeding ticket is on 10/1. Ouch! I am reading through sites tonight and realize that I should have gone through a serious discovery process. I assume with only one day (tomorrow) left to prepare this is too late?

The officer on a motorcycle was (finishing) giving a ticket when I passed, with many other vehicles around. I think I am soooo innocent. After reading all the info, I am totally intimidated. Is it too late to reschedule? Are their attorneys that will take over this late?

Nervous & anxious in Texas.
Any words of advice are appreciated.

You can hire a traffic ticket attorney and see if he can get an extension.

or of course you can just give up and admit guilt if that is easier...and settle with the prosecutor.
