Default ms. ervin

Ohio I received a speeding ticket, which I waived so that I could just pay the ticket. I paid the fine amount plus was charged court cost and misc. costs. Is it legal to charge court costs if you pay the ticket and not attend court?

If you plead "guilty", you were then sentenced to pay court cost.

If you plead "no contest", they then found you "guilty" and then sentenced you to pay court cost.

Usually, you are not ordered to pay court cost if you are found "not guilty" or if the case is dismissed.

Did the case get dismissed? If so, why?
