Default Florida old ticket: Can I take traffic school and pay off the ticket?

I am trying to get new job but my points on my driving record might hold me back, I would like to know if I have a ticket from 2years ago that I did not pay yet and I got 4 points for it, can I still take traffic school and pay off the ticket to clear the points. (I’m not sure why that have never contacted me to let me know I didn’t pay it.) I live in Florida.
