Default Traffic ticket

I have just been on holiday to navada. We went on a day trip to the grand

You could eventually have a warrant for your arrest and it would affect you when you come back. Best to pay it asap and avoid the hassle. Or fight it if you wish but at least don't ignore it.

This sounds exactly like my situation: I live in the UK as well but got a ticket while visiting California. I was told the same as you in a different forum, although, it is highly unlikely that you will get tracked down in the UK for it. Getting again into the US might be tricky though...

It is not out of the realm of possibility that you will be 'tracked down' in the U.K. for it. Saying otherwise would imply that everyone is free to come to the U.S. and violate out laws, then leave and have no consequences. In our global society, that mentality no longer works.

And yes, coming back to the U.S., you won't be met with open arms. An arrest warrant perhaps.
