Default Speeding - clocked with hand held gun

Hi,

I got a speeding ticket by being clocked with a hand held gun. The officer was out of the car, standing on the side of the road. I saw him way before he pulled the gun, I saw him the moment he pulled the gun and I checked my speed. I didn't have as much as he said (I had 2-3 miles over the speed limit).

First of all he wasn't steady when he clocked me. He was running from behind his car, pulled the gun at me, clocked (I'm not even sure he had time to clock me) and jumped in front of me to pull me over.

I don't think he has me on camera. His car was parked on the side of the road facing the direction I was driving (so I was coming from behind his car and no license plate in the front).

I was on a 4 lane street, under a highway bridge in the moment he said he clocked me (I asked him what may position was when he clocked me to make sure it was the same time I saw him doing it). I was on the 2nd lane with cars an all lanes.

First he said I was doing 55 then he came back with the ticket and he said 50. I was on 35 miles speed limit.

Another thing, from the point I was traveling to the point he pulled me over there is no sign of speed limit. There is one about 100 feet further from the point he pulled over. I was leaving the office so I guess I can demonstrate where I was coming out from on the street.

A lot of details here. I'm trying to see what can use to get my case dismissed.

Thanks.

Lots of good information there including that they may use his testimony as evidence. Not sure if the sign after you saw him was a reduction in speed limit, increase, or if it remained the same, but there is information above, and you can google it for your state.
