I got a speeding ticket last night around 9:20. I was driving about 80mph on I 505 with two quiet lane. I was driving on the left lane and spotted a police car on the right, hiding around the bush with a big truck. I slowed down to about 60mph and saw him pulled out the vehicle. He was following me but didn't put on the flashing light about few miles and told me to pull over to exit. Why didn't he tell me to pull over on the right shoulder lane? Anyway, we pull over half way of the exit on the right shoulder lane. He told me that he stopped me for driving over 90mph and I told him I was driving 80mph. I got lost and trying to find my way back to the city and my friend needed to go to pee. I asked him to give me a second chance and of course, he said no. So after I got my ticket, my friend and I sat there looking over on ticket and then my car didn't start. Luckily, he was still on back of us. I came out of my car and asked him to jump my car and told him that he caused and I said my car was the part of the reason I was driving a little faster...He said that make sense. Can I use this as my argument for speeding in court? What should I do or can I do?

I don't know for sure if that will help or not.The unfortunate thing is that after they write the tickets its a done deal so at that point when he agreed with you that the problems with your car could have been causing you to drive faster it really didn't mean anything.
