Confused How to fight these charges?

Two months ago the church bus I was driving was involved with an alledged incident involving a girl in a bicycle they claimed I hit her front tire with my driver side tire. Three 10 yr olds tried to say I ran a stop sign. On my bus I had a Sheriff's Deputy and another rider behind me that knows I was stopped. I didn't recieve any tickets and no officer was there at the time. We found out about 15 minutes outside the city and we voluntarily came in a gave our statements. The police cheif conducted an investigation and concluded it was a freak accident and he didn't think I did anything wrong or ran the stop sign. So he had the officer who went to the scene rewrite his report to say I didn't run the stop sign that was on Jan 11th. Two weeks ago March 6th the police cheif called and said "I got bad news for you, the mom pressured the Attorney to relook at the officers report (which is not the one I have in my possession) and they wrote up 4 charges. Failure to stop, Obstructing Traffic (which there was no traffic), Improper Turning, and Unsafely operating a motor vehicle.

There's no evidence to prove this except three ten yr olds statement vs 2 Pastors and an officer. The cop was not there at the scene and two ladies on the side of the road said they didn't see a thing. How do I handle these charges? I plan on pleading Not Guilty due to lack of evidence and subjective conclusions.

Will they testify for you? If so it is likely the charges will be dropped at some point--or that you would prevail in any hearing on the issue.

A number of years ago my daughter had an accident in a river canyon where the road is very narrow. She strayed over the line on a curve and went head on into a van. Nobody was hurt but my daughters car was totaled. The other car had damages.

When the officer arrived at the scene he gave her a ticket for causing the accident and going over the line.

She would have lost her license. I researched the ticket and found out that in order for a officer to give a ticket and not having witnessed the event himself the officer would have had to attended a traffic investigation course. Since most officers have not done this it was unlikely the officer was able to write the ticket. When my daughter went to her arraignment she cited a motion to dismiss based on an officer not writing a valid ticket. The judge took it to chambers and never returned. The case was dropped.
