Unhappy Speeding 82 in 65

I received a speeding ticket for an 82 in a 65 on Sunday, the cop said that he clocked me at 82, but I noticed I was doing 75 and went to slow down and he flicked his lights on. The ticket said it was from Direct Observation, and it was Verified by pace, and the model he used was his Speedometer. I'm 18, and I have no prior speeding tickets or anything on my license or record. I know that this is a 4 point ticket and a pretty big fine. I am going to try to talk with the town prosecutor and try to do driving school as an alternative or have them reduce it. Worst case scenario is that they give me the four points and have me pay a fine. Which brings me to my question, since I am on my dads insurance I know that will raise his rates. If I were to take my car off of the road and me off of his insurance before the court date, would the four points affect his insurance going up?

He can check with his agent too, but often yes it is based on the ticket.

Agents can negotiate this point!
