Confused Georgia Is FTML better than driving on the wrong side of the road?

Are certain "other moving violations" worse than others? My boyfriend was charged for "driving on the wrong side of the road" for coming over the center line on a very curvy road. Everyone does it.

Seems more like it should be Failure to Maintain Lane. And that seems like a less severe charge, to me. But i don't know whether it is or not.

thoughts?

plus, he has a CDL. He hasn't driven commercially in a few years but given the job market, that is definitely an option he wants to keep open.
they have already agreed to drop the bogus aggressive driving charge. The cop was really a super jack***.
