I got pulled over on the freeway (65mph) this morning; my first time and I am 28 years old. I never speed and checked my speedometer when I pulled over; I was going 69. The cop claimed I was going 79 approximately 5 miles back from where he stopped me. He pulled me over at the same time he tried to pull over another car in front of me. The other driver took off and did not receive a citation. I have a Class A lisence and need to prevent this from going on my record, but I have a hard time getting my job to work with me on time off for anything so making a lot of court appearances will be difficult, but I will do it if necessary. What can I do to prevent this from going onto my record?

If this is that important to you, then hiring a lawyer that deals with this is best and does indeed help. The lawyer can negotiate a deal often or challenge the ticket more effectively that you can.
