Exclamation 22348b (100+ Speeding) Licence Suspended?

A friend of mine got a Ticket for going 116 in Victorville, Ca (San Bernardino County) on the way to Las Vegas. Would anyone know what will be the consequences? Will she get her License suspended, and what will the Max. Fine be? This is her first offense (ever. She has never gotten one ticket for anything--not even for a parking violation) since she started driving in 2004.

She's a college student and will have no other means of commuting to school or work if her license is suspended. Can anyone provide any type of advice I could pass along to her?

Please keep from being mean and bashing this person for this. Its not fair and if you've been on this road towards Vegas from Los Angeles, YOU KNOW its NOT hard to over the speed limit cause everyone always does. They just wanna know the consequences, not to be preached to; don't be rude.

from experience (157mph on I-5 by Oceanside), if the ticket remains a 22348b, the max suspension time is 6 months, and max fine i believe is $1200. You can get a conditional suspension that still allows travel to and from work/school.

It's a 2 point infraction, so traffic school is out of the question... but at least it disappears after 3 years.

She should hire a lawyer to help her settle the case... otherwise the court will just take advantage and push max fines and sentencing.

I'm no lawyer, but I hope this helps.
