So awhile back I got a speeding ticket on my motorcycle for going over 100mph. I also got one for my licence plate not being in a visible area and a fix-it ticket for not having my current registration tags on. Well I showed up to court today because todays date was written on my ticket and I had never recieved anything in the mail. When talking to the clerk person she said that there was nothing in the system and that they were going ot check it out more in depth. she asked me to take a seat and that she would call me back up in a moment. 50 min later I was called back to the window and I was told that the officer wrote the ticket wrong and that they resubmitted it to the police station to be re-written. They told me that I would receive a letter in the mail saying when I had to show up in court and she said that I would have to appear before a judge.
I was just wondering if there was anything I could do and I was wondering why I would have to appear before a judge if on my original ticket everything was Infractions. Thanks Much. |

Unfortunately you still have to appear. Errors occur and that does not dismiss the ticket normally.
