RECKLESS DRIVING IN NYC
Hello,
I recieved a criminal court summons about 2 months ago for RecKless driving in NYC, and the Policeman wrote that I was in violation of Section 1190. I have been doing a lot of research and I cannot find "section 1190" anywhere. In the description box he did write out the words reckless driving though. Is it possible that there isn't such a code and this mistake on the officers part would be grounds for the case to be dismissed? |

The court will usually simply allow an amendment to be made--but you can ask for a dismissal if it is an error.
