I am currently being assessed to pay taxes on embezzeled funds that my
ex-wife stole while we were married and I had no knowledge of. We filed jointly and the Innocent Spouse was denied. The FTB is currently assessing the portion of taxes that I should pay. My question is, "Are embezzeled funds eligible for Offer in Compromise for the State of California and/or for the IRS?" |
