I owe back taxes...
I owe back taxes...and I would like to marry...
I'm starting to see about the taxes I owe but I think I will be getting married before anything is really done about it... The past taxes will be my responsibility? not the future husband's? Let me know...I'm going this Tuesday to a tax person to help me with my paper work...but I was just wandering about my very soon marriage... I don't want any of his things or money to be messed with...because it was all me and my past... Please explain to me what responsibilities each will have once we are married? Thanks for your help |

You spouse will not be responsible. But keep all of your assets separate.
