Amend & Fraud
what's the different between amended tax return and tax fraud? If I put a lady's name as spouse and now I don't want her in my tax form anymore. Can I do amended tax return? thank you

You normally cannot change that if you validly included her originally. And if you falsified the filing that could and would likely create fraud charges.
