1998 county tax not notified judgment in 2007
I opened a letter today July 28, 2007 and found that a judgment was issued against me on july 26, I was not notified of this hearing. The letter said business personal furniture and fixtures inventory and equipment. This shop was closed in 1998 and I am sure the taxes were paid but this was 9 years ago and I no longer have the records. Do I have any recourse . (Texas)

Contact the court asap and inform them you were never served. A new hearing can be set.
