I owe back taxes to the irs for 2001-2002 in the amount of $14,000 they are garnishing my pay 25 percent i never recieved any notice or forewarning except from my employer right before i dont deny that i owe im not sure how much but now the department of education is going to garnish another 15% they say my $5,000 dollar student loan is now a $15,000 debt I know im an idiot for not taking care of my debts earlier but i am not in the financial position to handle this
IS THERE ANY WAY TO DRASTICALLY REDUCE THESE FIGURES AND THE AMOUNT OF MY GARNISHMENTS SOMEONE PLEASE HELP THANK YOU |

Not really they can take up to 50% cumulatively.
You could apply for a hardship exception if such hardship exists--medical issues etc |
