Default Working remotely

Hi, I am a dual US/Ireland citizen. I plan to move back to my country (Ireland). In US I was working for an american public company that wants to keep me working remotely (I am a software engineer). I have a couple of questions:

1. Does my company has to register itself in Ireland? Can I just work remotely from Ireland and being payed in US, as it was done until now? I will pay US taxes of course, but I need to check what is happening with taxes in Ireland.

2. Does the company has any liability by doing so? Does the company breaks any law by keeping me hired from Ireland?

Thanks,

Scott.

They need not register. You can be set up as an independent contractor working for them.

If you still as an employee it gets a bit more complicated but that can be done as well fairly simply.

If they want me to keep me as an employee, do you know what else has to be done? Any potential liabilities for the company?
