Before I go to a lawyer or a CPA for this, I am trying to consult and learn what I can online.
I am a financial advisor and while reviewing some of my families things, I found myself without an answer for this situation. I have an aunt whom is very old. Within the last year, she made her brother a joint owner on all of her bank accounts. My question is if she were to pass away, would these accounts be taxable as inheritance or not? thanks in advance. |
