Unhappy Back Taxes

i have not paid taxes for 9 years plus. i know i am in trouble. i have just recently married and had to tell new wife. she is upset and scared. should i go to the irs and turn myself in? should i get legal representation? i have no money and i am close to having it all taken. is my new wife liable, she did not know anything about this?

Yes you should have a tax expert help you to resolve this. It may not be as bad as you think if you can get some kind payment situation structured.

Some amounts may be negotiable as well.

If you are employeed, or have been employeed, at any time over the past 9 years surely they would have been made aware of your income?

Unless, as stated in previous post, you are self-employeed?
