Hello,
I am a citizen of Mexico, I have an H-1B and waiting for the green card (my lawyers have filed for I-140 and I-485 this August). My question is whether I can start an online business before I obtain a green card: for example, once I get my work authorization. Or do I absolutely have to get the green card first? Thank you, Maria. |

Technically you are not supposed to be engaged in any other business activities. You could perhaps start it as hobby etc. to get the structure in place.
