Hello,
This is a very time sensitive question, so if someone could help us out as soon as they can by responding, I woud really appreciate it. It's been about a couple months since we got our LLC formed in NJ with 3 partners as the sole shareholders of the company. Recently, we accepted the 4th partner into our firm and need to get his name on the LLC contract right away. Who might we contact about this? Procedure? Fines involved? Any information would help. Thank you. Sincerely, Sunny Kwak |

This should be a rather simple matter. You can generally accomplish this by a vote (business meeting) with the existing members agreeing to the inclusion of this new partner. Thereafter, just register your change with the Secretary of State --
NJBGS - Services. It varies somewhat by state, but usually this is free or involves a modest filing fee. Good luck with your business endeavors! AJJ |
