Can a business have several different named websites? Or do all the website names have to be registered as DBA?

You normally can have different websites. That is not prohibited. You cannot have an intent to deceive or mislead for some fraudulent reason however.

So basically if somewhere on the website it says that its owned by the respective company it would be ok? Or is it enough if the site is registered by the company that runs it?
