Hot dog stand in NYC
Do you need a license to operate a hot dog stand in New York City? Pease advice ASAP! Thank you, Paul

I'm not sure about New York City, but many places require a business license for such peddlers, a tax identification card (for sales taxes), and a health inspection certificate. There may be other requirements, such as joining a local commerce group to determine where, how, and when the wares may be purveyed.

yes you certainly do--it is highly (perhaps overly) regulated in NYC.
