Business Name Help
I'm working towards starting my own business from home. I have settled on a name, and plan to register it now, along with purchasing the domain name now, so I have them when I'm ready.
The name I've settled on is "That Cake Lady" I've just discovered there is another Ontario business with the name "The Cake Lady" If I were to go ahead with my choice - are there any legalities that I could be in trouble with? I'm in Ontario, Canada. thanks. |

You really should avoid that. If she complains and you had already seen that name, you will most likely lose unfortunately.
