Appeal to logic? OK...but be aware that logical rigidity is like living by an intellectual sword...those who appeal strictly to it...shall perish by it.
Inductive validity requires us to define a reliable generalization of some set of observations. An attempt to apply deduction (mathematic precision) analysis to our situation is doomed to confusion simply due to the absence of necessary components of information in the general forum population. The values to these variables are supplied to individuals vetted as disciplined custodians…we, the general forum citizenry have demonstrated, with unfortunate reliability, insufficient regiment of constraint to process
calmly the information that has been dispersed.

In logic there are several Fallacies of presumption...one commonly tripped over is the Fallacy of Accident. The Fallacy of Accident begins with the statement of some principle that is true as a general rule, but then errs by applying this principle to a specific case that is unusual or atypical in some way.
Two common and even reasonable propositions:
The payouts are reported progressing from largest to smallest and are supposedly down to $100M range.
Acquaintanced accounts are in the $100M range.
These Acquaintances have not been paid.
Therefore…they have either been missed, passed over…or there are no payouts whatsoever.
In order for reports of payouts to be true…they must follow logical progression.
Payouts are not following logical progression.
Therefore: Reports of payouts cannot be true.
Any number of logical variances or structural branching embedded in the above syllogisms will betray and disable the conclusion…and in reality multiple variances accompany this situation…reducing logical analysis as tantamount to a coin toss.
A true universal premise would entail the truth of these conclusions...the truth of a general rule, on the other hand, leaves plenty of room for exceptional cases, and applying inadequately informed premises
to any of them will reliably find residence in the graveyard of logical fallacies.
There is nothing in reality that conforms strictly to logic.
No one has been skipped or missed...multitudes have and everyone will receive notice in logical fashion as actual progression continues to be reported.
