There are rumors flying that some kind of appeal may be pending in the civil case brought by German investors against Solid Investment and its parent company.

Let us now put this to rest.

After the civil case was filed in Germany, both sides agreed to a negotiated settlement and it was ordered that all funds be deposited into escrow accounts to be paid to all Solid Investment investors. The instant this negotiated settlement document was signed, the civil case ceased to exist. Therefore, with no civil case in existence, there is nothing to appeal.

If one side should decide to renege on the negotiated settlement and back out, the old civil case does not come to life again. A new one would have to be filed and prosecuted. However, the German investors are not about to back out of the negotiated settlement and refile a civil action when it appears that they are about to receive their payouts, and the parent company has been taken over by the German authorities, so it is not going to back out of the negotiated settlement either.

The rumor, that an appeal is in the offing, is simply untrue.

Since a negotiated settlement is in place, and since the funds have been deposited into escrow accounts in England, using English slang, THIS IS A DONE DEAL.

It is now our duty to be quiet and wait for our payout notices to arrive, and I am confident that all of us will do just that.

More bullsh*t. There is no "german judge" or related court case or settlement or parent company. Nobody can produce any of this information because it doesn't exist. Pingman's excuse for not providing the details himself is that he paid for the research and doesn't owe it to anyone to show it. Newsflash Pingman -- you and the rest of your lying pals have kept people hangin on for almost two years with your ridiculous stories. You owe them a lot more than that, but since you made it up the truth is that you can't.

Seems that some people have forgotten that Pingman started out telling admittedly hypotheical stories about what *might* have happened after SI disappeared. Somewhere along the line he and some others started believing his own bs.

Apparently none of this 'large group of Germans investors' have connections to the Internet since none have ever been found even on several German forums for SI or a number of German-speaking members who have searched everything available. You idiots lol. Do you think that there's no world beyond your sucker's forum? I guess they must be like the mysterious "offline investors" that have been paid yet have never materialized anywhere including on many other much larger forums than those run by the in-the-know-nothings. So the story goes they have no contacts with the online investors but yet they all somehow know to contact 'summer' and the rest of the liar's club immediately after being paid? Sure they do. LOL!

Almost all of the SI payments went through e-gold and that can all be tracked in the criminal proceedings under way, so you may want to contact the Justice Dept to learn more.
