Why was e-gold indicted by US Federal authorities?

I have received my refund check from the attorney's for SI. Now I can get on with life. No more rip-off scam HYIP's.

Good to hear. What percentage did you end up getting back? I remember that the default judgement was large but the actual money that they were able to capture didn't come to much.

Yes the actual money was from only one e-gold account for about 550K. The payouts, which are still on-going were 8.8 cents on the dollar. That was from your orrigional investment minus any returns you received. So if you put in $100 and received $50 of that back before SI went down you would receive $4.40. Wow! Guess who made out like bandits? Yup, the lawyers. My friend received his 8.8 cents on the dollar payment too. Total lawyer scam here and a complete waste of time.

Also World Law at least is not charging so who paid you and took fees? had you signed an agreement as to the fees? Only if you signed and agreed to the fees can they take the fees from you?

I cannot believe what idiots some people can be. The only scammers here are SI not the attorneys. If IS was not a scam they would have communicated with the attorneys when they were served the court papers last year. The attorneys charged 33% for their services without a retainer. Which means if they had gotten no money then there would be no charges.

If you got $4.40 back it is $4.40 more than you would get from SI. Some people put in thousands. I am happy to get back what I did.

If you still think the attorneys are scammers then you have a serious problem. You can always file a claim against them with the bar association.

Under no circumstances did the filing by the attorneys have anything to do with SI's demise as they were already cleaning out the E-gold accounts and going back to Russia.

World Law had nothing to do with the seized E-gold accounts nor did the Feds.

Now stop being an idiot and get your facts straight before you start shooting off your mouth because it makes you look as stupid as you are.
