CAN SHE SUE ME? SHE SENT A DEMAND LETTER FOR PERSONAL PROPERTY SHE LEFT BEHIND
My soon to be husbands ex girlfriend has been moved out of our home for over two years and now that she has found out that he has a new lady in his life she has sent a demand letter for $3,000 for personal property that she left behind. Now the funny thing is, last year, he allowed her to come in to the house, while we were out, and pack up and move all of her belongings. She took what I assume was most important to her and left the rest for us to clean up. So late last year we finally packed up the remaining items and hauled them off to the dump and she is upset about that. Does she hasve a case?
