Ebay Seller/Offline Purchase

I'm disabled and I was in a car accident and the Honda I was driving was totaled out. I bought that car on Ebay so when I received the check from the insurance company I looked for another car on Ebay but this time the experience was a little different. The "seller" had promised that the car ('92 Honda Acoord) would be delivered in two weeks and it had been going on a month and still no car. Here is the problem: I bidded on the car from a seller with the email address (anaanaa) and he called my cell number and informed me that the car was sold and that he had another one just like it. If I wanted the car I was to send him a check#440 in the amount of #4,775.00 (which included $750 for shipping). It is now going on two years and I still can't get any where with this car dealership. The car was shipped when I wasn't at home and from what I could make out it is in storage some where in GA and will cost me $2,000 or more to get out and I'm just not willing to pay that price. Can you please help me!
