can a dismissed case be opened if the settelment was not honored?
on a case i had filed the defendant's lawyer offered me a settlement and i accepted it. I didn't have a lawyer so the defendant's lawyer told the judge we had reached a settlement and said i wanted the case dismiss. Then we left the court house and the lawyer instructed the defendant to give me the jewelry as they had promissed in court. But the defendant only gave me part of the jewelry which was missing a ring worth several thousand dollars. it has been 3 dayss now and i would like to know if I can go to the and ask him to reopen my case because the defentant and her lawyer have violated the terms of the settlement by not returning all of the jewelry as they had promisses that day in court. I am very mad because they tricked me into dropping the case. Or will I have to start over again. 1. Can i reopen the case? 2. am i allolwed to file the same case again or am i forbidden to sue twich on the same problem. 3 can i charge the lawyer with colusion & conspiring to committ a crime?

You can re-open and/or file to enforce the settlement if the judge had approved the actual settlement
