Contract Dispute: I signed a contract to do business w/ an attorney.

I signed a contract to do business w/ an attorney on 11/12/06. I made some changes to the contract, including what I would pay her per hour, signed it & sent it back. When she recieved the contract, she noted no discussion for fee reduction (although there had been two brief discussions which is why I made the fee changes) signed it on 12/5/06 and stuck it in the mail to me. She never called to let me know that she was not doing the work at the reduced rate. She simply advised me "the contract" was in the mail. i am now currently taking her to arbitration for the $750.00 difference I feel she owes me as a result of not making me aware of the contract change. Is there any help out there, information ike contract laws, or similar cases that I might be able to use in court.

What you signed is valid. Just show the court that your signed agreement only has those terms.
