Confused small claims court in south carolina

I am trying to sue my roomates for unpaid bills. I recived a very low amount in the form a check from one of them, it wasn't even half with the memo line stating payment in full. I have email and other correspondece saying that I never accepted at full payment, however my boyfriend accidentally cashed the check when he went to the bank because he was cashing some checks that I had recived from a baby shower, and he thought that check went with them and he cashed it, the next day I sent her an email telling her what had happend and sent her a money order for the returned money saying that Inever accepted as payment in full. She then sent the money order back to me and said that I had accepted it as payment in full and she is now refusing all my efforts for contact, what should I do? Do I still have a case?

You can still sue and you will win. File asap!

She has to pay what is due.
