Contracted out to work for State of Texas under contract, and was harassed by Supervisor numerous times, negative emails about myself surfaced and discriminatory remarks were made. I was not allowed to file a grievance, simply just placed under a different Supervisor within same area. They went into full retaliation with ultimate goal to terminate me, and the lady who was no longer my Supervisor, terminated me. There was no "valid" reason. It has been a month, and I have never received any thing in which I have requested, which are within my rights to have. I know that this can be a long and drawn out Civil Rights Issue. But, is there anything short term that I can do, like take her to small claims court, or anything at all in the State of Texas, which will not effect the existing issues, which may take time?
My former Supervisor has altered documents, in which I have proof. Isn't that a crime of some sort, or is she protected under the State contract? |
