We bought a truck at christmas, seller told us the lien was already off. Mixup with Vin # between bank and Mechanic who did safety papers. We found out after truck as purchased there is still a lien on it. Seller wouldn't return calls, had to go to his place of work to find him, he says bank won't take lien off. What do we do now? Talking to lawyer but not sure?
ty v much for your help |

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against him (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to his behavior...
